As we head into MLK Day 2022, we find ourselves still under a cloud of COVID, unable to gather together indoors in large numbers. Even the out-of-doors Peace Walk is at risk from a snowstorm! 

Whatever the weather, Chair of the DC Council Library Committee Trayon White, invites us to join the Peace Walk. Council member White represents Ward 8, where the Walk kicks off. See here for exact details.

AFI SIlver Theatre presents an MLK Day Free Screening of MLK/FBI. Based on declassified files and restored historical footage, this powerful documentary examines the US government history of targeting black activists.
