Greetings Library Friends:
We are pleased to invite you to our Friends Room on December 14 between 11 am and 3 pm, when you may buy and donate used books.
We will offer for sale most of our books, including many books that we have never before offered on our book sales cart. All books will be under $10, with most books at $2. For the most part, we will accept only cash and checks, with a credit card option for total purchases that are over $15.
In addition, we will be accepting up to two bags of used books in very good condtion from those of you who are downsizing your libraries.
We are pleased to accept fiction and nonfiction books of most genres. Attached is a list of books that we will accept. Please note we cannot accept textbooks, law books, books with missing dust jackets, and books with writing or highlighting or that are otherwise damaged.
We are located in the lower level (Level A) of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library at 9th and G Streets NW. That’s the Red Line Metro stop at Gallery Place.We look forward to seeing you December 14.Happy Holidays!The MLK Library Friends
